Conservancy Efforts

Image result for gray golden snub nosed monkey
After becoming aware of the increasing endangerment of the grey golden snub-nosed monkey, the Chinese nation had established a preserve around the monkeys' habitat, the Fanjingshan National Nature Reseve, as an effort to provide legal protection. Unfortunately, many of the miners still illegally come across those lands and continue ruining the land the monkeys depend on. With rising danger, the province has looked into other viable pieces of land where the surviving monkeys can be taken to and be protected, but given that they are endemic to the Wuling Mountains, it is difficult to find a suitable new habitat for them. As people around the world are becoming more aware of the danger present to this fragile group, more research groups are rising to help these vulnerable creatures make a stand against human threats to their survival.
